Jono Toohey
Founder, Owner & Manager

Owner & Manager of Albury DJ Entertainment. Jono began DJing in 1999, and now with over 18 years experience can provide the highest quality of DJ entertainment and professionalism available for your function. Jono specialises in wedding entertainment and corporate events and also has an extensive background in trivia and event hosting, acting as master or ceremonies, youth events, nightclubs, celebrations and corporate events. Jono is a fun and experienced wedding MC, very experienced DJ and is extremely organised to ensure your event runs to plan. Jono has limited availability from 2017 onwards. Jono plays for the crowd, working hard to ensure requests are played and interacting with guests to create a fun atmosphere. Jono goes over and above for every client and will do whatever it takes to exceed your expectation on a DJ entertainer. In early 2012 Jono completed further master of ceremonies and personalisation training, learning the art of personalised wedding introductions and can provide the most unique personalised moments and formalities at a wedding reception. Jono can also act as your exclusive wedding master of ceremonies working alongside another of our DJs with our exclusive two DJ package.

Brenden
DJ Entertainer & 2IC

Brenden joined the team in early 2012 and already having extensive music knowledge and prior training made Brenden an ideal team member. Brenden knows his party music, pub rock and is up to date with top 40. Brenden is a very organised person who comes well prepared to events. Brenden has a high level of attention to detail and always looks to do something more to add value, including his setup and taking some fun photos throughout the night. He is easy to get along with and happy to mingle with guests and make them feel welcome to make requests. Brenden has experience as a wedding MC and wedding DJ and conducted very thorough training as an assistant to Jono. Brenden's role has expanded with us and is now our second in charge (2IC). Brenden will be an asset at any event. .

Jamie
DJ Entertainer

Jamie began DJing in 1996 and now has over 20 years experience in the DJ industry and joined the Albury DJ team in 2008. 2017 will be Jamie's last year as a wedding entertainer. Jamie has had a wide variety of experience including mobile DJ entertainment, resident DJ at many local establishments and as a wedding MC & DJ. Jamie is very interactive and fun and will happily lead your guests in a group dance and use the microphone where needed to encourage participation. Jamie has an exceptional music knowledge covering many genres including party classics, urban/rnb, top 40 and everything in between. Complimenting this knowledge is Jamie's position as music editor at the Border Mail. He is also very creative with his music selection and will keep guests guessing what the next song will be. Jamie's extensive experience will ensure a very smooth event and can provide advice and ideas leading up to your wedding or event. Jamie is well suited to clients looking for a DJ to be active throughout the event, involve the guests and interact with everyone.

Chris
DJ Entertainer

Before joining Albury DJ Entertainment, Chris provided entertainment at events and parties for friends for a number of years. In early 2011 Chris joined and has worked most weekends at a variety of functions including weddings, corporate events, engagement parties and birthdays. He is an easy going people person who manages easily to get along with guests at each event. Chris has a passion for entertainment and continues learning new ways to provide high quality entertainment. Chris knows his party anthems and also has a passion for triple J and alternative music as well as being into new music and house classics. For clients looking for someone who is not obtrusive on the microphone but can interact where necessary and make guests feel welcome Chris is a great choice. He is also very organised, has great attention to detail and prepares well for events.
